The Burger Salad (GF, DF)

Yup, I told you... I love a sandwich salad. This time I did a pretend "Big Mac" salad style, which is clearly not the same because no bun, no cheese... but if you like burgers but don't want to deal with the bun, this might be a good option for you! 

*Per usual this is a no tomatoes dish, so I subbed out all ketchup. Feel free to add it to the sauce! 

Ingredients:

- Grass Fed Burger Patties, grilled

- Choice of lettuce

- Red Onions, sliced thinly

- Dill hamburger pickles

- Frozen or homemade sweet potato fries, baked

- *Any other of your favorite burger ingredients. I topped my salad with a little drizzle of yellow mustard!

 

Sauce:

- 3/4 cup mayo

- 4 Dill pickles minced

- 1 tbs mustard

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 1/2 tsp paprika

 

Be sure to grill the burgers and let cool. Bake the sweet potato fries as directed on package or on your homemade recipe. Mix sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.

 

The best way to make this burger is with your favorite burger ingredients, a great bonus would be to throw a fried egg on top of this! 

 

 

*This recipe can be made vegan using vegan mayo and impossible burger patties.
