Live In Love: February's Theme

Live in Love

We are bringing you an all new February Theme: LIVE IN LOVE. Without “living in love” you cannot redirect yourself to joy.

While we aren’t directly speaking about loving your partner, because obviously you totally should if you are partnered up, we mean truly living a life that you love, and that means all of it…even the hard parts, the boring parts, the not so fun parts, because they all are part of what it means to love wholly and live wholeheartedly.

Brené Brown defines love as:

“We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness, and affection. Love is not something we give or get; it is something that we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them - we can only love others as much as we love ourselves. Shame, blame, disrespect, betrayal, and the withholding of affection damage the roos from which love grows. Love can only survive the injuries if they are acknowledged, healed, and rare.

She also defines whole hearted living as:

“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It’s going to bed at night thinking, YES, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging.”

This month we will speak about and focus on ways to love your life, bring in purpose, and say YES to having it all.

So, the big question - Where do you start? Ooooph, that is so personal, AND, you know. You know what isn’t work, what you don’t love….and you know it’s not laundry, deep down it’s something bigger.

You have to start with getting really clear about what the problem actually is, only then can you create a system for change.

What is most interesting is that it is known the pandemic has brought uncertainty and chaos into our lives, but it might have also brought you something new or magnified something you love in your life. Let that lead you through this month, and let that bring you back to joy.
